1) Mongolia launches construction of its first oil refinery with $1 billion Indian aid On June 23, 2018, Mongolia launched construction of its first oil refinery that is funded by India in a ceremony that was attended by Minister of Home Affairs Rajnath Singh and the Mongolian Prime Minister Khurelsukh Ukhnaa. It will be capable of processing 1.5 million tonnes of crude oil each year That is about 30,000 barrels per day (bpd).
